First Full Moon of 2013 “Wolf Moon”

So tonight at 11:39 the first full moon of 2013 was shining bright. I had decided to get a shot of it (since I’ve never done so before). It’s always a fascinating site to see, even though the amount of light being reflected makes looking at fainter objects nearly impossible. It’s time to head off to bed now, the forecast says the sky should be clear early tomorrow morning. I’ll try getting up around 3:30AM to see if Saturn manages to shine through the moon’s glow.

This big bully's ruining a perfect;y good night. Reflecting that sunlight all over the place!
